Malar — blossom, in Tamil — is the third in our small collection: a quiet house being prepared in the Northern Province, set aside for guests once the work on it is done. The shape of the stay is still settling; the place is being readied with the same attention as the others, in unhurried time.

What we can promise now is what we promise at the other two: small, hosted, family-run. Breakfast cooked in the kitchen of the house. A garden left mostly to itself. The same direct conversation with Abi that begins every booking.

When the house is ready, this page will tell you where it sits, what it sleeps, and what the days there feel like. Until then, please consider it a held seat — and let us know if you'd like to be told when we open it for stays.

Every booking comes through Abi. No platform fees, no middlemen — a personal note back, usually within a few hours.
Airport pickup arranged
Private transfers from Palaly (JAF) airport on request, and a quietly arranged ride from Colombo when needed.
