The journey
The classic island arc, taken slowly. The first half threads the Cultural Triangle — Sigiriya rising out of the dry-zone scrub, Polonnaruwa's ruined royal city, the great stupa landscape of Anuradhapura — before the long drive north to settle for four nights at the villa. Heritage stays in the south are arranged on your behalf with operators we've worked with for years; nothing is named here, because the right house depends on the season.

Arrival & transfer to the Cultural Triangle
Met at Bandaranaike International on arrival and driven inland to the Cultural Triangle — roughly four hours through the wet-zone hills and out into the drier interior. Settle into a heritage stay near Sigiriya, arranged on your behalf. The first evening is for unwinding from the flight; dinner where you are staying.
